Our first client was as in-house technical support for eLogistics – an innovative and leading supply chain technology company with a focus on web based technology for business.
In our work on development projects, implementations, testing and support we have seen first hand the unfair cost to businesses where IT is not well understood. Mistakes are expensive and on-site support ridiculously so.
Like all professions, IT Engineers have an almost impenetrable jargon that has the effect of making something simple, but technical, really hard to understand or get the best out of.
When we decided to try to remove the mystery, and the cost, to provide real value from IT to smaller businesses we thought about a name. Our owners said, you’re ‘our tech team’. I work for eLogistics, so perhaps I am a bit biased, but I learned to use a keyboard on a typewriter. Since computers became a necessity I had really struggled to get the hang of them.
